Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance of terms

By using Editly, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. The service

Editly provides browser-based file editing tools free of charge. Editing happens locally on your device; we do not receive a copy of your files.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Editly to process files you do not have the legal right to edit, or in any way that violates applicable law.

4. No warranty

Editly is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Editing certain files (particularly PDFs and DOCX documents) may not perfectly preserve original formatting. We recommend keeping a backup of your original files before editing.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Editly and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including data loss.

6. Advertising

This site may display third-party advertisements, including through Google AdSense. We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Contact

Questions about these terms can be sent through our contact page.
